The
regular meeting of the Planning Board was held June 9, 2003
at the Oswego Town Hall following a site review at Oswego
Growers & Shippers, Inc. on St. Rt. 104. Francis Dellamano,
Member, called the meeting to order at approximately 8:10pm.

Old Business – none
New Business
A. Application # 2003-01
VIP Associates – Mr. Dellamano notes the biggest responsibility
is the water run-off. Storm water detention was proposed.
Run off will be detained for approx. 24 hrs, if contained
on site the board sees no problem. Mr. Pritchard suggested
limestone on road to keep dust down; Mr. Dellamano suggested
2 rows of trees on neighbors’ yard to kept dust down.
Mr. Dellamano asked that Sam Zappala, co-owner of Oswego Growers
& Shippers, Inc., send adjacent neighboring property owners
a letter inviting them to next month’s Planning Board
meeting and ZBA meeting. Secretary to send application to
County Planning.
Application # 2003-02
Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC – Proposal to merge
0.059 acre (H. & J. Keith) to property owned by Father
& Son Enterprises, Inc. on State Route 104. Deed to 7125
St Rt 104 increased by 0.059 acre. Deed to 7119 St Rt 104
decreased by 0.059 acre. The Board concurs that the application
does not come under subdivision regulations. Mr. Pritchard
motioned to approve the merger, seconded by Mr. Phillips.
All ayes. Motion carried.
Application # 2003-03
Paul Haines proposed archery business on Furniss Station Rd.
The board needs more information on why permit was denied
from Code Enforcement Officer. Mr. Dellamano would like a
letter sent to applicant regarding site plan and invitation
to July meeting.
Mr. Phillips nominated Judy Sabin-Watson as chair. Mr. Pritchard
nominated Francis Dellamano; Mr. Dellamano declined the nomination
and supported the nomination of Mrs. Watson. All ayes. Motion
carried. The Planning Board will recommend Judy Sabin-Watson
as chair to the Town Board.
Open Board Discussion
Mr. Pritchard is concerned with dust from dirt road at Oswego
Growers & Shippers, Inc., would like to get the road paved
to brink of hill.
Adjournment
Motion by Mr. Pritchard and seconded by Mr. Phillips to close
the regular meeting of the Oswego Town Planning Board at 9:11
PM. All ayes. Motion carried.
