6-a. Resolution #99-97 Proposed Local Law 99-1
Be it enacted that the Oswego Town Board rescinds the December
5, 1983 action of the Board identified as Note 9, and Be it
further enacted that Article 5, Section C (2) (a) and (b) shall
have restored thereto the phrase "after receipt and consideration
of a written consultative report from the Town Planning Board".
Be it further enacted that the Sub-Division Regulations of the
Town of Oswego be amended as follows:
Replace Section I, Part K Paragraph 2 and Paragraph 3 with the
following:
Road - Public Vehicular Access which is public by virtue of
having been and continuing to be approved, accepted and maintained
by the NY State Department of Transportation or County or Town
Highway Superintendents.
Major Road – A road intended to serve heavy flows of traffic
from minor roads or as a business road providing access to business
properties.
Minor Road - A road intended to serve primarily as an access
to abutting residential properties.
Be it further enacted that the remainder of Section I Part K
Paragraph 2 shall be renumbered as 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.
Be it further enacted that these amendments shall take effect
upon proper filing with the NYS Department of State.

6-b. Resolution #_____. PROPOSED LOCAL LAW
NO. 3 OF 1999
Be it enacted that title "Dog Control Officer" shall
be replaced by the title "Animal Control Officer."
Be it further enacted that the Animal Control Officer shall
be empowered to perform such duties and meet such requirements,
as NYS law shall provide.

8-a. Resolution #_____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board authorizes the transfer of $ ______ from
the Town/MWB escrow account to OCWA for Water System Expansion.

8-b. Resolution #_____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to take appropriate
steps to request a NYS Department of Transportation review of
the speed limits on Gardenier Road, from County Route 7 to the
Town Line, and Hillside Avenue, from Gardenier Road to the Town
Line. Be it further resolved that the Oswego Town Board requests
that said speed limits be lowered. Moved by _________. Seconded

8-c. Resolution #_____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to submit an
Environmental Bond Act grant proposal for the purpose of purchasing
the property commonly known as Nunzi’s. Be it further
resolved that the Oswego Town Board supports said grant proposal
and urges all State Officials to support the proposal. Moved

8-d. Resolution #_____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to submit a
grant proposal to Rural Futures, Inc. for the purpose of funding
engineering and architectural costs at the Southwest Oswego
Community Center. Be it further resolved that the Oswego Town
Board fully supports said application. Moved by _______________.

8-e. Resolution #_____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board authorizes OCWA to activate the Fire Hydrant
and Water Main on Northstar Boulevard. Be it further resolved
that this action is taken purely in the interests of the public
health and safety. Be it further resolved that the Oswego Town
Board reaffirms its support of Section I, Article K, Part 7
of the Town of Oswego Sub-Division Regulations. Moved by Supervisor

8-f. Resolution #_____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board approves the appointment of ________________as
a member of the Oswego Town Planning Board. Be it further resolved
