6-a. Public Hearing-Proposed Local Law No.2 of 1999,
amending Local Law No. 1 of 1994. Flood Law.
6-b. Public Heating-Proposed Local Law No. 3 of 1999.
Be it enacted that title "Dog Control Officer" shall
be replaced by the title "Animal Control Officer".
Be it further enacted that the Animal Control Officer shall
be empowered to perform such duties and meet such requirements,
as NYS law shall provide.

the Oswego Town Board shall hold a public hearing on Public

9-a. Resolution # _____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board approves the route of the 1999 YMCA Tour
de Loop. Be it further resolved that the Oswego Town Board authorizes
the Supervisor to notify the NYSDOT of the Town's approval.
Be it further resolved that the Oswego Town Board applauds the
continued support of this event by Ontario Orchards, Rudy's,
Murdock's and the Bikery. Moved by Supervisor Tyrie. Seconded

9-b. Resolution # _____. Whereas Town residents
experience occasional problems resulting from the presence of
raccoons, skunk, and other wild animals, and
Whereas there is the very real possibility of the existence,
from time-to-time, of rabid animals within the Town and
Whereas it is appropriate for the Town to respond to complaints
regarding wild animals, therefore
Be it resolved that the Oswego Town Board authorizes the Supervisor
to solicit estimates from private trappers for contractual services.
Be it further resolved that such estimates shall be on a per
animal basis, and shall include the capture and disposition
of the animal. Moved by Supervisor Tyrie. Seconded by___________.
9-c. Resolution # _____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board approves the hiring of Theresa Gibson,
Maureen Sweeney, and Elizabeth Weimer as Assistant Directors

9-d. Resolution # _____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board approves the hiring of Jason Clark Lisa
Cooper, Nathan DeBan, Adam Hogan, Aaron Nelson, Nicholas Pelkey,
Dennis Place, Krista Peer, John Simmons, Amy Smith, and Mary
Voorhies as hourly employees of the Recreation Department. Moved

9-e. Resolution # _____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board approves the hiring of Cynthia Anderson
as Director of Recreation. Moved by Supervisor Tyrie. Seconded

9-f. Resolution # _____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board approves the hiring of___________ as Cemetery
Superintendent. Moved by________ Seconded by_____________.
9-g. Resolution # _____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to accept file
low-bid for the removal of the "Highmore Water Tower".
Be it further resolved that such bidder was RF Combs Excavation
& Paving at an amount of $3690.00. Moved by Councilperson

9-h. Resolution # _____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board Authorizes the Supervisor to contract
with JWJ Inc for the removal of the Old Sleepy Hollow Sewage
Treatment Plant. Be it further resolved, that the cost of such
removal shall be $1,860.00 Be it further resolved, that JWJ
shall be responsible for all costs associated with said removal
and for backfill of the hole to match existing grades using
ROB gravel. Moved by __________ Seconded by___________.
9-i. Resolution # _____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board accepts with regret, the resignation of
Francis Witkowski from the Town Grievance Board. Be it further
resolved that the Board authorizes the Supervisor to send a
letter to Mr. Witkowski expressing gratitude for his service

9-j. Resolution # _____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board accepts the resignation of Don Elliot
from the Planning Board. Moved by____________Seconded by_____________.
9-k. Resolution # _____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Boardapproves the appointment of Donald Elliot
to the Town Grievance Board. Be it further resolved that said
term of office shall expire on

9-l. Resolution # _____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board designates the following sites as official
polling places for the Primary Election to be held on September
14, 1999 and for the General election to be held on November
2, 1999:

2nd District-Oswego Town Volunteer Fire Station-County Rte 20
3rd District-Southwest Osweeo Community Center-NYS Rte 104W
4th District-Hewitt Student Union-SUNY @ Oswego.

the Oswego Town Board approves the hiring of______________________as

the Oswego Town Board approves the registration fees of $129.00
for Fred Pryor Seminar and registration fee of $149.00 for Skill
path Seminars for Donna Pinter.

9-o. Resolution # _____. Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board
Directs the Supervisor to ask New York State Department of Transportation
to review and lower the speed limits on the following roads:
NYS Rt 104W from Tug Hill Road to Harvest Drive; and
County Route 20 from the County Line to West Fifth Street; and
Rathbum Road; and
West Fifth Street from the City line to the Granby Town Line
