Resolution #2001-______ Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board approves the minutes of the June 11, 2001

Resolution #2001-______ Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board has audited and approves the payment of
the following bills:

a. Resolution #2001-______ Whereas the Oswego
Town Board wishes to encourage preservation of historically
significant structures, and Whereas the Pease House on Cemetery
Road, constructed in the Federal Style from 1916-1826, is architecturally
significant, and Whereas the use of the Pease House as a station
on the Underground Railroad makes this particular home historically
significant, Therefore Be it resolved that the Oswego Town Board
supports efforts to have the Pease Home place on the National
Register of Historic Places. Moved by Supervisor Tyrie. Seconded
by _____________.
b. Resolution #2001-______ Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to engage in
preliminary paperwork required to prepare a proposal creating
the position of Buildings, Grounds, and Cemetery Superintendent.
Be it further resolved that support of this resolution in no
way obligates the Town Board to create said position. Moved

c. Resolution #2001-______ Whereas the Annual
YMCA Tour de Loop is a positive addition to the Oswego Town
Community and whereas this event promotes the scenic nature
of Oswego Town, therefore, be it resolved that the Oswego Town
Board authorizes the route of the 2001 YMCA Tour de Loop as
identified in Attachment A. Be it further resolved that the
Board directs the Supervisor to notify the NYSDOT of this authorization.
Be it further resolved that the Oswego Town Board applauds the
continued support of this event by Rudy's and Ontario Orchards
and other local businesses and authorizes the Town Supervisor
to prepare appropriate certificates of appreciation. Moved by

d. Resolution #2001-______ Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to advertise
a Request for Proposals for the purpose of repairing the Southwest
Community Center. Be it further resolved that sealed bids containing
proposals shall be opened by the Town Clerk at 3:00pm on August

e. Resolution #2001-______ Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to hire Teresa
Gibson as Recreation Program Director, Ted Beers as Assistant
Director, and the following as program staff: Moved by Supervisor

f. Resolution #2001-______ Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board authorizes the Attendance of Town Justices
and Court Clerks at recertification classes. Be it further resolved
that all associated costs shall be considered legitimate Town

g. Resolution #2001-______ Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board approves the attendance of the Highway
Superintendent at the September Highway School. Be it further
resolved that all associated costs shall be considered legitimate

h. Resolution #2001-______ Be it resolved that
the Oswego Town Board schedules a public hearing on Proposed
Local Law 2001-4. Be it further resolved that such hearing shall
be held on August 13, 2001, at 7:05 pm at the Southwest Community
