The meeting of the Oswego Town Board was held on June 12, 2006 at the town hall. Supervisor Mullen opened the meeting at 7:00 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for past cemetery care taker Carl Mueller. Roll call was taken with the following members present:

Town Clerk’s Report: The May fees paid to the supervisor were $1758.50, total for month $2219.35. I will be replacing my deputy clerk as she will not be returning due to medical reasons.

Supervisor's Report: My bookkeeper/clerk left un-expectantly on May 10th. Since then I have been doing the accounting for the town. This has put a huge strain on my time but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I am happy to report that I have found a replacement and she will take over on June 28th. Mrs. Teresa Botting of Oswego Town will be appointed as Supervisor Clerk this evening. Mrs. Botting was the office manager of the Newman Center for the last 10 years. Please stop by and introduce yourselves, as she acquaints herself with the personnel and elected officials.

As you can see our highway dept has been working on the site work here at town hall. They have been doing an outstanding job and I am happy with their progress.

We have renewed both BAN’S on the Highway Garage and the Town Hall, paying down 85 thousand dollars.

The Historical Society and Town Recreation will hold their annual Ice Cream Social and band concert July 11th in the Town Park. Ice Cream sundaes will be served beginning at 6:30 pm the concert begins at 7:00. The 35 piece Fulton Community Band will be playing some of your favorites! Please stop by for some old fashioned summer time fun.

Resolution 2006-64 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board approves the minutes from the May 8 and May 19, 2006 town board meetings.
Moved by Councilor Mahaney, second Councilor Pritchard. All ayes motion carried.

Resolution 2006-65 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board approves the following budget modifications; A1990.4 (contingent acct.) to A1910.4 (unallocated insurance) in the amount of $565.81; from A599 (unappropriated fund balance) to A1620.4 (building contractual) in the amount of $3758.58.
Moved by Councilor Herrmann, second Councilor DeSacia. All ayes motion carried.

Resolution 2006-66 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board approves the bills on abstract 6.

Resolution 2006-67 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board authorizes Justices Jung and Sterio to submit a grant application to the Justice Court Assistance Program.

Resolution 2006-68 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board renew the BAN for the highway garage at a interest rate of 4%.
Moved by Supervisor Mullen, second Councilor DeSacia. All ayes motion carried.

Resolution 2006-69 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board acknowledges the appointment of Teresa Botting as Clerk to the Supervisor and special districts clerk with an annual salary of $20,000.00.
Moved by Supervisor Mullen, second Councilor Herrmann. All ayes motion carried.

Resolution 2006-70 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board approves the landscaping at town hall by Ontario Orchards price not to exceed $3000.00.
Moved by Councilor DeSacia, second Councilor Herrmann. All ayes motion carried.

Motion by Councilor Mahaney, second by Councilor Pritchard to close the meeting at 7:15 PM.
