A town board workshop was held at the Oswego Town Hall, Supervisor Mullen opened the meeting at 6:30 PM, roll call was taken with the following members present.

The town clerk presented the 2007 tentative budget to the board members. Budget Officer Richard Hogan reviewed the budget with the board, he estimated the tax rate for 2007 will be general fund .43243; highway fund 2.24574.

Resolution 2006-100 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board changes line A3520.1 (highway superintendent personal services) to $46451.00, change A1990.4 (contingent account) to $21,630.00.
Moved by Councilor Mahaney, second Councilor DeSacia. 4 ayes, 1 nay.
DeSacia, Mahaney, Mullen, Pritchard aye, Herrmann nay.

Resolution 2006-101 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board changes line SS2-8120.11 (clerk) to $1167.00; SS2-9030.8 (social security) to $100.00; SS2-2401 (interest & earnings) to $179.00.
Moved by Supervisor Mullen, second Councilor DeSacia. All ayes motion carried.

Discussion was held regarding the agenda, exercise class to be held at town hall for town residents and insurance issues. The town board meeting for October will be held on October 9, 2006 at 7:00 PM.

Motion to close the workshop meeting at 8:00 PM made by Councilor Mahaney, second Councilor Pritchard. All ayes motion carried.
