A
meeting of the Oswego Town Board was held on April 9, 2007 at
the town hall. Deputy Supervisor Tim DeSacia opened the meeting
at 7:00 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call was taken
with the following members present:

Town Clerk Report: Fees paid to the supervisor
for March were $1399.83, total for the month $1590.05. Total
taxes collected were $2,470,724.12, on April 12th final payment
will be made to the County Treasurer. A total of $247,497.83
will be returned as unpaid.
The historical society will host a presentation on Gettysburg
on Saturday April 14, 2007 at the town hall. All are welcome.
Rick Sivers will be presenting the history of Fruit Valley on
May 10th at town hall.

Resolution 2007-42 Be it resolved the Oswego
Town Board approves the minutes from the March 12, 2007 town
board meeting.
Moved by Councilor DeSacia, second Councilor Pritchard. All
ayes motion carried.
Resolution 2007-43 Be it resolved the Oswego
Town Board approves the bills on abstract 4.

Resolution 2007-44 Be it resolved the Oswego
Town Board will hold a public hearing on May 14, 2007 at 7:05
pm to hear all interested parties on modifying Local Law 1-2004
to Administration and Fire Code to be proposed Local Law 2-2007.
Moved by Councilor Mahaney, second Councilor Pritchard. All
ayes motion carried.
Resolution 2007-45 Be it resolved the Oswego
Town Board accepts the highway agreement between the Town of
Oswego and Deputy Superintendent of Highways, to spend highway
funds, pursuant to the provisions of Section 284 of the highway
law.
Moved by Councilor DeSacia, second Councilor Pritchard. All
ayes motion carried.
Resolution 2007-46 Be it resolved the Oswego
Town Board acknowledges Town Clerk, Theresa Cooper’s trip
to Rochester for the Annual Town Clerk Conference, April 29th
– May 3, 2007.
Moved by Councilor Mahaney, second Councilor DeSacia. All ayes
motion carried.
Resolution 2007-47 Be it resolved the Oswego
Town Board grants permission to the Chief Assessor Rick Hogan
to request a proposal for an assessment revaluation project
for 2008.
Moved by Councilor Pritchard, second Councilor DeSacia. All
ayes motion carried.
Resolution 2007-48 Be it resolved the Oswego
Town Board reappoints Ted Sivers to Grievance Board, term to
expire 2012.
Moved by Councilor DeSacia, second Councilor Mahaney. All ayes
motion carried.
Resolution 2007-49 Be it resolved the Oswego
Town Board accepts with regret the resignation of laborer Larry
Boardway from the Oswego Town Highway Dept. and thanks him for
his years of service to the Town of Oswego.

ayes motion carried.
Resolution 2007-50 Be it resolved the Oswego
Town Board grants permission to the Deputy Highway Superintendent
to sell as junk a 1985 Ingersol Rand Roller.
Moved by Councilor DeSacia, second Councilor Pritchard. All
ayes motion carried.
Resolution 2007-51 Be it resolved the Oswego
Town Board reappoints Robert Baker to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Term to expire 2012.
Moved by Councilor Mahaney, second Councilor DeSacia. All ayes
motion carried.
Resolution 2007-52 Be it resolved the Oswego
Town Board appoints Mike Soucy as Cemetery Laborer at $7.39
per hour, and Dennis Knopp as Assistant Cemetery Superintendent
at $9.08 per hour.

ayes motion carried.
Resolution 2007-53 Be it resolved the Oswego
Town Board directs the supervisor to sign the Memorandum of
Understanding for the Reimbursement of Town expenses as written
in attachment A.

ayes motion carried.
Resolution
2007-54 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board grants
the Oswego Town Historical Society the use of the town hall
on April 14, 2007 for their Gettysburg presentation.
Moved by Councilor Pritchard, second Councilor DeSacia. All
ayes motion carried.
