"For more than ten years, Brad Livesey served the residents
of the Town of Oswego by his membership on the Zoning Board
of Appeals. All of us depended on his common sense, his wisdom,
and his invaluable knowledge of the Town and its citizens. Such
a commitment to citizenship is consistent with the values and
dedication of this well-known and well-loved member of our community.
He is a man who will be truly irreplaceable. Our appreciation
for his work on our behalf is unqualified. Our sympathies go
out to his wife Carol and her family".

New Business:
Application #2005-06 - Mark Wallace - Area Variance:
Mark Wallace's Public Hearing was scheduled for 7:10 PM. At

Wallace did not appear for the hearing. He asked Allison Nelson
if she felt it was ample time to wait, and she stated it was.
Greg asked for a Motion to table the hearing until next month's
meeting, August 18, 2005. Deb Jaskula entertained the Motion,
and Tim Anderson seconded it. All ayes. Motion carried.
Old Business:
There were no items of old business with the exception of the
committee updating the Ordinance. Since Greg Mills was on the
Committee, and has now resigned, Greg Auleta said he would be
very happy to work with Brian Frazier, of the County Planning
Board, as well as the others on the committee to revamp the
Ordinance. Greg explained to the two new members that our present
Ordinance does not have regulations on signage, fencing, or
coastal erosion.
As to the zoning map, it is very difficult to read. The members
had tried various times to obtain the original map with no luck.
Patty Blackwell said she may have resources to get an original
map.
Public Comment:
No one from the public appeared at the meeting.
Open Board Discussion:
Greg said we had discussed continued improvements on the regulations
of the Ordinance under Old Business.
Adjournment:
At approximately 7:45, Tim Anderson made a motion to adjourn
the meeting. Debra Jaskula seconded the Motion. All ayes. Motion
carried.
Respectfully submitted,
Marjorie Best,
