If you are planning to replace your driveway this season, please let The Town Highway know so the culvert under your driveway can be inspected. If replacement is needed, either now or in the foreseeable future, we will do it before your new driveway in installed. There is no charge to replace an old, non-functioning culvert.
We are trying to put the winter season behind us, but the weather man keeps giving us bad news, making it harder to plan ahead. We will do a regular pick up this coming Monday, April 8, and continue throughout the spring and summer on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month.
Is your address number posted on your home or business where it can be clearly seen from the street?
IT IS THE LAW IN OSWEGO COUNTY!
ALL homeowners and businesses are required to have their assigned 9-1-1 address number posted on the structure where it can be seen clearly from the street
There is no parking on any roads in the Town of Oswego between November 15 and April 15.
Please keep this in mind so that our Highway Deptartment can keep the roads clean and safe throughout the winter months.
Remember, passing a snowplow is dangerous. Its better to stay behind where the road is clear and salted. Also, stay several car lengths back, especially at intersections where they sometimes need to back up.
