I was recently asked about the closing of the Thompson Road, by the NYS DOT, and wanted to share with you the status of the project.    Currently, the Town has had discussions with a contractor for repairs to the existing culverts below, rather than a full replacement.  They have an engineering firm studying the bridge, and hope to have a report soon.  This will outline the feasibility of repairs and/or replacement along with the estimated costs.  Once they have that information, they will then be able to decide how to allocate funds for the repair or replacement option they chose to pursue.
