On Tuesday 8/4/20 bids were opened for the construction phase of replacing the bridge on Thompson Road over Rice Creek. We were pleased that the apparent low bid was slightly below cost estimates. At a Special Town Board meeting, also on 8/4/20, the Oswego Town Board passed a resolution authorizing the awarding of the bid to the apparent low bidder, pending review by the Town’s engineers, The BCA Group. The Town is moving forward with this project as quickly as possible. Updates will be posted when a construction schedule has been established.
