PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Oswego, in conjunction
with the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Town of Oswego Fire District, is
considering the diminution of the Town of Oswego Fire District boundaries to exclude a
portion of the northeast corner of the Town. It is proposed that a new fire protection
district will be established to include all that portion of the Town in the northeast corner
of the Town that will be excluded from the Town of Oswego Fire District upon the
diminution of its boundaries.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD
on the 26 th day of December, 2023, at the Oswego Town Hall, located at 2320 Co. Rte. 7
Oswego, NY 13126, which shall commence at 6:00 pm to consider the diminution of the
fire district. The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Town of Oswego Fire District and
the Town Board of the Town of Oswego will be in attendance. A copy of the proposed
diminution description (Schedule A), including the proposed boundaries of the
diminution, is available for viewing at the Oswego Town Hall, located at 2320 Co. Rte. 7
Oswego, NY 13126.
